A groundbreaking online performance for families that explains what racism is, how to know it when you see and experience it, and ideas for what you can do about it.

HTY is proud to bring this to bring this world premiere, online theatrical experience to children and families in our community in partnership with 36 other TYA theatres across the country including: Bay Area Children’s Theatre, Alliance Theatre and Seattle Children’s Theatre as Lead Producers.

This work by all Black artists features HTY company actor, Moses Goods. His participation was funded by a generous donation from Denise and Ace Ellinwood.

HTY will be hosting a community watch party and talkback via Zoom on

Saturday, August 1st at 2:30pm.

The 30 minute performance will be followed by a talkback for kids and families moderated by Moses Goods and  Dr. Akiemi Glenn, Executive Director of the Pōpolo Project.
